2K have already begun laying out the DLC plans for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

If you pre-order the game through participating retailers you will get access to side mission, “Codebreakers.” In this mission a top secret government facility has gone silent and your team must investigate and terminate any threats to bring the facility back online. Additionally Gamestop pre-orders come the the Light Plasma Pistol.

The post-release DLC for The Bureau will be story driven and focus on expanding the origins of the XCOM organization. Sadly for PS3 players the first DLC pack is exclusive to the Xbox 360.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is due out on August 20th and 23rd in North America and Europe for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.

Today it was announced that Rogue, Psylocke, and Domino will join the cast of Deadpool’s game which comes out later this month. They will be joining already announced Cable, Mister Sinister, Vertigo, Arclight, BlockBuster, Death, and Wolverine.

Vengeance, the newest multiplayer map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, has been detailed and trailered.

The latest map pack features four new maps Cove, Detour, Rush, and Uplink, Also included is the newest zombie map called Buried that comes with a new gun the Ray Gun Mark II. 

Vengeance will release first on Xbox 360 on July 2nd and the PC and PlayStation 3 following sometime after that.

Ubisoft refuses to stop the Assassin’s Creed train and currently have three games in development.

Speaking with Kotaku, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that the company currently have three games in the Assassin’s Creed franchise in active development. While no specifics on the three games were detailed it is likely one of the three games is  Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag which releases later this year. The other two on the other hand could be anything really, but with Assassin’s Creed being an annual release since Assassin’s Creed 2 it might be safe to assume one of them could be next years’s game.

Yves Guillemot is confident that the franchise can continue to stay fresh with their mulitple studio development cycle.

“We are making sure the teams who are creating the different iterations have enough time—two years, three years, so that they can take risk and they can change the concept enough so that it can be appealing and fresh,” said Yeves Guillemont, Ubisoft CEO.

It appears that Ubisoft will not let Assassin’s Creed rest anytime soon. Do you think Assassin’s Creed should continue with being an annual release or could some time off do the franchise some good?

Creative director of NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, has revealed via twitter that General Zod will be the next DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us.  No official release date has been announced but NetherRealm has been consistent and speedy with their DLC characters thus far.  Batgirl and Lobo were both released in May, and Scorpion’s early June release suggests that Zod will be playable this month.  General Zod is the focus villain in the summer blockbuster, Man of Steel, which releases on June 14th.  Wouldn’t it be fitting for Zod to join the ranks of the Injustice roster during the first week of the film’s release?  The gameplay trailer will be available next week.

Boon has also been teasing future DLC through his tweets.  With Zod being the 4th and final DLC character available through the DLC Season Pass, perhaps a ‘season 2′ is in order?  What do you guys think?

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn is an MMORPG which began life as a disaster in 2010 but after a lot of blood, sweat and tears the game is being relaunched on August 27th this year under this newer title.

Quantic Dream have shed a little more light on what type of game play you can expect from it’s upcoming title Beyond: Two Souls. In the first trailer below you get a glimpse of what the game play and story will be like and the exotic localions you will be traveling to.

The second trailer gives you a more detailed over view of how the controls work and how you will interact with the environment around you.

Beyond: Two Souls releases only for the PlayStation 3 on October 8th 2013.

Telltale Games announced yesterday that they will be releasing another episode to The Walking Dead: Season One this July called 400 Days.

400 Days follows five characters and their stories through the first 400 days of the zombie breakout. Their stories can be played in any order and revolve around a Georgia truck stop at different points during the 400 days. Decisions made during season one will play a part in this episode and decisions made here will also carry over to season two which is due out this Fall.

The Walking Dead: 400 Days will be out sometime in July and cost $4.99. It will require at least episode one of season one to play it.

In other Walking Dead news, Sony announced they will release a Waling Dead Season One Vita bundle in August that includes 400 Days.

You may have seen New ‘n’ Tasty being announced at the E3 2013 Sony Conference as part of the indie lineup for the PlayStation 4. I recently visited Just Add Water Ltd. to have a chat about about many things, including this new game. This is so much more than a HD remake, they are re-doing everything, it’s almost a completely new game. I watched some of the all new cutscenes and then the game being played, I can never go back to the original now.
