Main characters Dawn and Didi

Contrast is the story of a little girl named Didi and her friend Dawn in the 1920s. Dawn has the ability to shift from reality to a shadowy parallel world. Players will use light sources and real world objects to affect shadow placement, depth, height, and weighting to solve puzzles. Using Dawn’s abilities will help Didi unravel secrets of this highly stylized world.

“CONTRAST is a very special project with its atmosphere, artistic direction and innovative gameplay and we knew that from the moment we saw the game,” said Cédric Lagarrigue, CEO of Focus Home Interactive. “We are delighted to be partnering with Compulsion Games and believe this project to be one of the biggest indie surprises of the year.”

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.

Seems stylish enough but I’m looking forward too see how this game differs from the many other titles that deal with switching between between “light & shadow” perspectives.
