What Were the Best Memories of 2012
As we look back at 2012, we see a lot of great games and with those great games, great memories. I for one had a great time with 2012. I was able to join PSNATION.ORG as a writer, play some of the best games of the year, and accomplish part of my goals. It was definitely one of the best years I have had recently. Now with all of that said, I would like to write about some of the best gaming memories of this year that I have encountered.
My first minutes of Sound Shapes
I love Sound Shapes. It is one of the reasons why I bought my PS Vita. It looked like the perfect game on the go. When I finally had the chance to play it, I was so enthralled with it, I actually played for 2 hours straight. The music, graphics, and gameplay were as addicting as could be. It was easily the most fun I have had with a portable game since Plants vs. Zombies. This was what I wanted in a portable game, and it delivered the experience I wanted perfectly. This is easily my PS Vita game of the year.
MLB 12: The Show and my sick Pittsburgh Pirates addiction
My friends mock me so much. It is not because they are jealous of my good looks (that is a push) or because they want all of my money in which I have none. It is due to my fandom of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Yes I am a HUGE Pirates fan. I am 24 years old, yet I root for the worst team in professional sports. The only true way I can get away from all of the losing, is creating my team in MLB 12: The Show. I love these games as they are what die hards like myself dream of. I probably played this game for about 200 hours or so. It has made me love my team that much more as well as increase my baseball knowledge. Thank you Sony San Diego for giving me now only this game, but a game as great as this every single year!
Halo 4, enough said
I will get berated for this since this is PSNATION.ORG, but my best memory of 2012 has been playing with my friends the last two months on Halo 4 atleast three times a week. We are addicts! We need to grenade, BR, and armor lock as much as we can. It has been that way since we in high school, and this game still dominates our weekly playing habits. We all have our favorite series, and Halo will continue to be mine.
So with all of that said, what is the community of PSNATION.ORGs’ favorite memories. I would love to hear and hopefully gain some games to play the next two months. Leave it in the comments and from me to all of you, have a great and happy New Year!
