Gung Ho Online Entertainment releases 6 PS One classics on the PlayStation Network

Yesterday Gung Ho Online Entertainment America released 6 PS One classics on the PlayStation Network. Gung Ho is a multi-platform publisher and released these games into the PS One classics import section of the PlayStation Store.   They are available for download for a price of $5.99 each and they are in their original unaltered state from Japan. So keep that in mind if you are to buy one of these classics, it will not be in English. The games that were released are as follows:

  • Makeruna Makendo 2 – A Quirky, high-energy fighting game which includes magic attacks along with your normal melee attacks. Players can also use magic to lower their opponents defense or increase their own HP or attack power, in order to win a match.
  • Art Camion Sugorokuden – This is a virtual board game where dice are used to move your truck while you explore Japan and customize your ‘art truck’ as you make deliveries.
  • Fingers Flashing – Playing as a young witch names Poi you will be fighting back hordes of enemies in this rock, paper, scissors style combat game.
  • Lup Salad – A classic puzzle-style gameplay where you control a character named Salad and spin blocks to match symbols but if you match them with Salad just underneath you will be squashed!
  • Zanac Zanac – This game is a classic top-down sci-fi shooting em up game also known as a shmup. It is also packaged with the original Zanac which is an 8-bit shooter.
  • Vehicle Cavalier – This is a fast-paced vehicle action game that gives players the ability to customize their armaments. Weapons, boosters, and special defensive items that cancel out enemy attacks can be mixed and matched to allow players to strategize their vehicle load outs.

Looks like this is a great mix of nostalgic games to get your memories flowing if you remember these when you were younger. Or a fresh play if you have never heard of them like me! So check out the PlayStation store imports section in order to pick them up! Did you pick any of these up? If so let us known your thoughts below please!
