2K has announced the first two DLC packs for XCOM: the Slingshot Content Pack and the Elite Soldier Pack.

The Slingshot Content Pack, the first DLC pack, is a new set of linked Council missions offering new maps tied to the Council missions, a new playable squad character with a unique story and voice, and new character customization options.

The Elite Solider Pack was a pre-order bonus DLC and is now available for purchase in the PSN Store.
