Sony have today added a new feature to the official PlayStation app – a LittleBigPlanet AR mini-game.

The app is available on both Android and iOS devices (but currently only in Europe), and will allow players to control Sackboy in the mini-game, as well as take photos of the Sony mascot in their own environment. The latter feature is also part of a competition – you can tweet photos to @LittleBigPlanet with the hashtag #whereissackboy in order to win codes for DLC.

For those who don’t own a copy of the game, the AR feature still works by using an image of the boxart on a screen, so you can test it out with the picture below.
