Gamescom: PS+ gets even better!

Moments ago, Sony concluded its quite brilliant Gamescom conference – which included some exciting news on PlayStation Plus.

As if the service wasn’t great enough already, with the fantastic set of free games, PS+ members now have even more to look forward to:

  • Red Dead Redemption is available for free this September.
  • The PlayStation Vita will also be supported as part of PS+.
  • Cloud storage for game saves (which was previously capped at 150MB), will now allow you to store a huge 1GB.
  • During September, there will be a two week period where PS+ is 25% off. This was only announced for Europe so far, but it’s probably safe to assume North America will end up with a similar deal.
