2K Sports have announced the Dynasty Edition for NBA 2K13 on PS3, which will retail at $99.99.

The Dynasty Edition is being produced in “limited quantities” and is available at Gamestop, Best Buy and Amazon in the US. There will be an international release too, but no specific retailers have been detailed as yet.

2K‘s VP of marketing, Jason Argent, was pleased with the offering:

“With this special edition package, we want to give something meaningful to our great fans. This is an awesome deal that is sure to please fans, and will become a must-have item while supplies last.”

On top of the All-Star weekend DLC that was revealed at the same time as the full game, there’ll also be some actual objects that you can hold in your hand – a welcome change from the usual ‘special editions’ we are accustomed to with many recent games.

NBA 2K13 will launch on October 2nd (US) / October 5th (EU) on the PS3 and PSP.
