‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ Announced

Warner Bros. Interactive has just announced a DC Comics fighting game in development, Injustice: Gods Among Us. The game is being developed by NetherRealm, the same people who brought you Mortal Kombat.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is said to have an original story line with many recognizable characters, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and more. Players will be taken to a world where the lines between good and evil are lost and be able to witness epic battles between heroes and villains on a massive scale.

Ed Boon, creative director at NetherRealm studios says, “Our team is excited to make a fighting game that is filled with fast-paced action, incredible story-telling and iconic DC Comics characters.”

Injustice: Gods Among Us is scheduled for a 2013 release date on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. For all the latest, check back here at PS Nation.

The trailer looks awesome and the latest Mortal Kombat proves that these developers know how to make an incredible fighting game. But haven’t we already kind of seen this game with MK vs DC? Seems a little repetitive to me.

    • I can’t wait for this game, I’m going to have to catch up on MK to get ready. I think the difference is that this is only DC Comics, which I’m okay with. I’m tired of them smashing everything together haha

New release: Ultimate MK x Tekken x Marvel x SF x DC x Soul Calibur x Skull Girls x Virtua Fighter x Super Smash Bros x Clay Fighter Arcade Edition

  • Looks good. I wonder what heroes will be playable ???
